Is your life marked by the 3 characteristics of a Christian listed in 1 Thess. 5:16-18? In which area do you fail the most and why? What restores your joy, prayer, or gratitude?
Share a testimony of when God was constant in your life, even when you failed or when circumstances changed for the worse. What did you learn about God in that time? What did you learn about yourself?
Are you generally a thankful person or are you generally ungrateful? Take some time to share with your group somethings you are thankful for.
What are some good things you believe God works for in our lives? What is the ultimate good God is working for in our lives (Romans 8:28-29)? How does that inform the way you worship and serve the Lord in corporate worship and in all of life?
