What are some things that frustrate you about the lost people in your life? How has this caused you to respond to them, especially as it relates to obeying the great commission? How has this caused anxiety and doubt in your own life?
Do you have an “until I went to the sanctuary” testimony? What were the things about running to Jesus or meeting with God in the company of God’s people that gave you a new perspective? How did you act differently because of this new perspective? Have you ever thought about how your own worship in the midst of suffering could be an encouragement for others in the church?
Jamey mentioned quoting Philippians 4:6-8 to help him when he becomes ungrateful and envious. What are some things you do that turn your eyes to God’s goodness and away from the things that are causing your own sin and unbelief? What are some ways you would encourage others in the same direction?
