What evidence of rebellion against God do you see in international events? In national events? In local events? In the lives of your coworkers? How can you help reconcile at least one person to Christ?

The people of Israel expected God’s son to come and crush his enemies. When you read Psalm 2 can you understand why the majority of the Jewish people did not see Jesus as the Son in this passage? How does Psalm 2 speak of the already/not yet reality of the reign of Christ as God’s Anointed King?

We tend to think that the time we are living in is worse than any other time in history. Jamey reminded us that this is not the case. What do you learn from this psalm about God’s sovereignty? How does knowing God is sovereign help you face life’s challenges?

How does Psalm 2 and the prophecy about the Davidic dynasty in 2 Samuel 7:14-16 inform the inheritance in the saints spoken of in Ephesians 1:18?
