Learning on the Way

What “bear” in your past are you running from? How can looking ahead to Christ help you escape your past? What causes you to stumble when running from your past and towards Christ? How do you overcome that?

Who are some examples of godliness in your life? Who do you follow as they follow Christ? What about them makes you want to imitate them? How do they help you run towards Christ? How can you be a better example to others?

What are some ways we can encourage one another when we meet together on the Lord’s Day (Sunday)? What are some ways we can encourage one another during the week? How do you think you are doing encouraging others? How are we doing as a local church encouraging one another?

What are some “appetites” you are prone to worship? Why are these things more appealing to you than passionately pursuing Christ? What can you do to love Christ more than you love the world or yourself?

How does your heavenly citizenship inform your earthly life? How does it inform your politics? How does it inform your family structure? How does it inform the way you work? How does it inform the way you worship?
