Learning On the Way
How well do you follow the example of Tychicus? Are you faithful and diligent in tasks you are assigned with, whether in the local church or in your daily work? Can you be trusted to carry out your tasks with excellence?
How are you doing with correspondence with folks that are connected to the church but haven’t been in a while (for legitimate and illegitimate reasons)? Do other Christians believe you care for them? What are some steps we can take as individuals or as a small group to ensure those who are connected to us know we think of them, pray, and care for them?
Are peace, love, grace and faith distinguishing marks on your life? If not, why do you think that is? What can you do to change that? What can we do to help? If those are distinguishing marks of your life, where are you tempted to fail in these? How do you overcome?
Have you failed to discern the Lord’s body by being divisive? Have you confessed that sin to God and, if necessary, to your brother and sister in Christ so you may take the Lord’s Supper in a worthy manner?
