Learning on the Way
Do you have a difficult time distinguishing between the world, the flesh, and the devil in your sins and struggles? How do you try to distinguish between these? How do you fight against these influences in your life?
Do you think you are influenced by the culture? Take an assessment of your life. Where are you most influenced by our culture, especially in a negative sense? How can we do better combatting the negative influence of our culture?
Do you believe the lies Satan tells you about yourself, about your church family, and/or about God? What makes you prone to believe those lies?
How are you doing advancing the Kingdom of Christ against the spiritual forces of evil? Are you regularly sharing the gospel or praying that God would help you share the gospel? How can we help equip one another to become more effective sharing the gospel and advancing the Kingdom of Christ?
Share some times when you failed to be faithful in reading the word and consequently fell prey to the devil. Share times when you were faithful and obedient and thereby able to stand against the schemes of the devil. How can we pray for each other to be better at resisting the devil?
