Speaker: Jamie Norman

Learning on The Way

Have you ever thought about meta-narratives in the context of the Bible? What are the dangers of reading the Bible without a good understanding of the meta-narrative of scripture?

Do you struggle with seeing God’s focus on his own glory as selfish? Of the three responses, Jamey gave to this which one helps you to understand this truth the best? (moral response, Who is worthy of glory? and when we are the center we self-destruct)

When we forget our purpose, we become dissatisfied with our life. Have you ever forgotten your purpose an began to think that life is all about you? How has that impacted your life?

Read Ephesians 4:1-16 about unity, Ephesians 5:22-33 about marriage, Ephesians 6:1-9 about family relationships how does understanding the key in chapter 1 about living for God’s glory change the way you view the point of these other texts? How does it inspire you to be able to follow these instructions?
