Learning On The Way

When you face difficulties do you tend to grumble and complain, or do you tend to remind yourself that you have been redeemed by God’s grace? What are some things you can do to ensure you live with a gospel perspective?

Do you find it joyous that you are united in Christ with people from all races, ethnicities, cultures, social statuses or does that bother you? How are you doing living out the reality that you are one with folks you have nothing in common with except that you are united in Christ? Do you make it a practice to overcome some of those societal barriers you grew up with (give some examples) or are you content holding on to them?

How do you think you are doing in the pursuit of fulfilling those things Christians are called to? Do you feel hopeful or hopeless? Do you believe that Christ will complete his calling in you or do you doubt it? If you feel hopeless and doubtful, how can we pray for you and help you be assured of the hope you have in Christ, especially as it relates to fulfilling your calling as a Christian?

How do you respond to the truth that the power of God displayed in the resurrection and exaltation of Christ is toward you (or for you)? Does it make you prideful? Do you find it hard to believe because you are unworthy of such grace? How does this truth motivate you to serve the Lord and serve one another?
