Learning on the Way

If your friends, coworkers, and family members were asked if the way you lived your life spoke well of Christianity, what would they say? What attributes of a Christian would they point out? Where would they say you need improvement? Would the testimony be the same if we were to ask a server at your favorite restaurant?

What are some areas in your life where you struggle with idleness or being “unruly”? Is there a simple solution that would help you overcome them (like going to bed before 10pm)? What steps can you take, starting today, to help you overcome in this area?

Are there brothers/sisters in Christ that you need to withhold full fellowship from until you talk to them about their sin? What is keeping you from talking to them? Are there brothers/sisters that you do withhold fellowship from and why? What steps need to be taken for restoration/reconciliation?

Who came to mind when the sermon talked about people we have given up on? Why did that person come to mind? Why have you given up on them? What do you need to do to reconnect with that person and continue to try to help them grow in grace?
