What is the purpose of small group? (2 Thess. 1:3; John 13:34; 1 Cor. 13:1-8) Has small group been frustrating or hard for you because you had a different expectation of what you thought its purpose was? How can we do better in our group at learning how to grow in our love one for another? How can we as a small group foster this kind of love one for another?
If Paul were alive today, what would he boast about us? What are some steps we can take to ensure that our personal testimony and the testimony of the local church encourages other people and local churches?
If someone were to assess your faith in the tough times of your life, what would they say about your faith? Would they say it is growing abundantly or that it is weak and shrinking? What do you do that makes your faith lacking? What can you do to make your faith grow?
Is your definition of love the biblical definition of love (1 Cor. 13:1-8)? Where is it different? What can we do to ensure we are loving one another according to the biblical definition?
How do you think we do in connecting to other churches? Do you feel connected or disconnected to other faithful churches in our area? What can we do to increase our networking and fellowship with other faithful churches?
