"And the armed men were walking before the priests who were blowing the trumpets, and the rear guard was walking after the ark..."
Joshua 6:9
Notice that defeating Jericho wasn’t a solo mission. The entire community participated – soldiers, priests, and people all had roles to play. Every part of the community was essential for God’s victory.
One of the enemy’s primary tactics is isolation. He wants you to think you’re the only one struggling, that no one would understand, that you have to fight this battle alone. But God’s design for defeating strongholds always involves community.
You need people around you who will pray for you, encourage you, hold you accountable, and remind you of truth when you can’t see it clearly. Some of you need to stop trying to defeat your stronghold in secret and get into authentic Christian community where people can walk this journey with you.
Today's Challenge
Are you trying to fight your stronghold alone? What fears or shame keep you from reaching out for support? Who could you trust to walk this battle with you? Identify one person in your Christian community who could pray for you and provide accountability. Reach out to them today and share honestly about your struggle.
