Learning on the Way
Talk through the questions Dale opened with. How are you accomplishing the Great Commission (what’s your role)? How far are you willing to go for the Gospel (geographically, relationally, financially, how much time…)? What are you willing to sacrifice for the Gospel?
What does Paul’s reciprocal relationship with the Philippians teach us about friendship with one another? What does it teach us about partnering for the sake of the Great Commission?
Would you be willing to walk to Canada to share the Gospel? Why or why not? What would propel you to do it? What would hinder you? What does this teach us about our priorities?
How do you respond to pushback when you are trying to obey the Great Commission? What are some steps to take to persevere through setbacks and persecution while trying to make disciples of all people?
In what ways are you engaged in missionary partnerships (prayer, encouragement, giving)? Do you have a plan to be more engaged? How can we be more engaged, even sacrificially engaged?
